So, you want to be a pirate, huh? Well, so do we, only without the sea biscuits and a pissed-off Kraken trying to eat our ship.
Who are we? Great question! Well, we’re a lifestyle medium geared (roughly) towards those between 45 and 65 who want to master the second half of their lives. You know, people like us. We want to challenge everything and we have this burning desire to experience it all. So we share our travel escapades, talk about what happens when you’re starting to grey, and generally try not to take it all too seriously.
So, where exactly does all this take place? Well, we’re here obviously. This is our home for words and all the visual imagery they provide. We also do videos over on YouTube (all of these links are below, by the way). If you’re just into videos, then cool. We hope you enjoy what we’re doing there. But if you want a little more diversity from your entertainment menu, check out all of the other trains we have coming and going into the station. For you see, we also do photography and other forms of still media. I even have a book published … and it’s waiting for your purchase. But most importantly, we’re on a journey, and we want to share it in as many ways as possible … some of which we haven’t even thought of yet.
We tend to focus on three things: Travel, Life, and Fun. Not necessarily in that order, and rarely separately. We explore cultures, food, and peoples. Work our way through issues and the possible potholes experienced by folks in our circumstances. And we always want to share a laugh.
We’re very serious about the “Mastering The Second Half Of Life” part of all of this. Yes, we’re still figuring it all out, so all of this is going to change and evolve as well. Please come join us! Literally and virtually. We can’t wait to meet you.
